Vice President
Angie T.
“One of my favorite things about being an Army spouse is all the ways military families support one another. My family has benefited so greatly from our Army friends and family, and one of my favorite ways to “pay it forward” is supporting the scholarship fund.
It is so rewarding to get to see all of the amazing things military dependents do as they go out into the world, and supporting their education dreams to reach their goals is an honor.
I look forward to working with the rest of the team and having a great year of scholarship awards!

Event Coordinator
Rachel R.
“I am excited to serve as the Events Coordinator on the FHSF. As a student myself I know what a scholarship can mean for someone who needs the extra encouragement to achieve a goal. Being in the Hospitality field in my education, then receiving the opportunity to fill this position is a blessing. I have been on a board before as the Fort Riley Spouses Club Mother Flocker, and I was able to learn and grow so much while bringing smiles to the base during the Covid Lock down. I look forward to bringing smiles to Fort Hood with each event that I help this amazing organization host for our Army family throughout the 2025-2026 year.”

Treasurer
Carydaniel C.
I am honored to serve as the Treasurer for the Fort Hood Scholarship Fund, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the important mission of this organization. My primary objective is to meticulously account for every generous donation and ensure that each dollar is allocated effectively to support our mission.
The President has set an ambitious goal of limiting operational costs to less than 10% of total donations, with the aim of reducing this figure to 5% by next year. This means that 95% of our contributions will directly fund scholarships that support the educational
aspirations of military family members. I wholeheartedly embrace this challenge!
As a former resource manager and finance officer in the Army, I am fully committed to leveraging my expertise to empower military families through educational opportunities. I look forward to working diligently to help these individuals pursue their dreams and
make a meaningful impact in their lives.

Mel S.
I am thrilled to continue to serve the community and the Fort Hood Scholarship Fund. As Advisor, I hope to encourage, nurture, and help facilitate community relations. With fundraisers such as our Golf Scramble, I hope we are able to get the community excited for opportunities to volunteer and or sponsor with and within the Fund.
